Training
Ballet Camrose practices only the highest standard of training and syllabus. We offer full Cecchetti ballet training, and exams, Al Gilbert tap training and exams, and a comprehensive jazz syllabus to build a strong, technical, versatile dancer. We strive to train dancers who are multi-talented, multi-faceted, and who are versed in many forms of dance. All of our instructors are fully certified and have the experience and training to give young dancers marvellous technique
Competitions
& Festivals
Ballet Camrose attends three or four competitions per year to give our students experience in a positive competitive environment and experience in developing stage presence. This year, our studio will be attending: Coronation Music Festival (Coronation, AB), Catch A Rising Star Dance Festival (Camrose, AB), Catch a Rising Star (Drumheller, AB), and Sparkle Bright Dance Festival (Camrose, AB).
Year End Show
Ballet Camrose offers two wonderful shows at the end of every dance year.
The Dance Extravaganza showcases all of the year's competition pieces, along with student choreography numbers and specimen routines. It is a night filled with multiple forms of dance and all of our hardworking students who were involved in the year's competition season.
At Ballet Camrose, we take pride in our annual full-length ballet. This year's Hansel & Gretel will be a wonderful production involving candy, whimsy and beautiful ballet. This show involves students from ages 3 and up, awards, and is an amazing opportunity for the entire studio and all of our dancers to work together and play wonderful,
beloved characters.
ABOUT US
Ballet Camrose offers highly technical training, competition experience, and a family-oriented atmosphere. To offer the highest quality of dance training, all of our staff are fully certified and have the experience to provide high caliber classes. At Ballet Camrose, we offer provincial examinations in our junior grades ballet classes, as well as international Cecchetti ballet examinations for our grades and major grades classes. In addition, we offer provincial examinations in the Al Gilbert tap syllabus and provincial examinations in our comprehensive jazz syllabus.
At Ballet Camrose, we strive to create well rounded, multi-faceted dancers by offering examinations, as well as competition experience. We attend four competitions each year which all provide a positive, constructive atmosphere and opportunity to grow studio pride.
We value a positive learning atmosphere at our studio where the student is able to learn at their own pace and to the best of their personal ability. We aim to provide our students with the necessary skills and experience to train in many different forms of dance, to create positive self-confidence and a wide skill set for future opportunities.
